R2D2 Death Star wedding ring box

You might think you had every last detail of your wedding planned but if you are a Star Wars fan think again. Here is a R2D2 Death Star wedding ring box set for the bride and groom at a recent wedding here at The Secret Garden in Orlando.

This bride is from the UK and after searching online for these boxes I found that they are originally candy and mint boxes and were also out of stock on the site we found. It just goes to show that there is no end to unique ideas when planning the details of your wedding.

Autumn Garden Weddings

Autumn Garden Weddings are beautiful in Central Florida. As fall arrives this year, we have updated and uploaded some new photos of some recent weddings that took place here at The Secret Garden. As you can see, the ceremony site has a new look with a larger area surrounded by a stone wall. No matter what time of year, there are always new plants in bloom and the garden is always peaceful and relaxing.

We have had an unusually wet summer so you will also notice that the lake is much fuller than in years past which gives it a more grand look. The lake abounds with fish, turtles and birds however we are pleased to say there are no alligators in our lake at The Secret Garden. This gives everyone peace of mind.

When you’re looking for an intimate garden wedding in a private setting,  you have come to the right place in finding The Secret Garden in Orlando and we are just minutes from downtown Orlando and the attractions area and there are plenty of hotels and restaurants nearby. We are located between the Orlando and Sanford airports so travel to our location could not be more convenient.

Tea Room Weddings

Tea Room Weddings are popular in the UK.

We had the pleasure of celebrating Rick and Helen’s marriage here at the Secret Garden this past Sunday morning with a light tea room style reception that followed. This entire event was three hours long and was catered by the Dickens Coffee and Tea Room of Lake Mary, Florida. Everything was beautiful and the weather was too. Having the Dickens Tea Room cater the event added a genuine hint of England with their delicious dessert tray and sandwiches.

The groom’s mom is an ordained minister and she performed their ceremony. It included a sand pouring of several different colors representing the blending of the bride and groom and their children.

Orlando wedding locations

As one of the most intimate of all garden wedding venues The Secret Garden is by far one of the best values going for Orlando wedding locations.

The Secret Garden is a lush garden with it’s manicured St Augustine lawn right up to the shore of private Lake Ruth. The 30 foot tall Bamboo behind the ceremony area is awesome. The 14 acre lake view invites the mind to wander peacefully. There are NO alligators here so don’t worry. You can watch the wide array of birds and butterflies and enjoy a family wedding. The covered area is screened in and still holds a nice gathering with the outdoor view still enjoyed.

Secret Garden New Look

It has been in the plans for some time now but finally over the past 4 days we have completed the Secret Garden new look with a new bigger and better garden area designated for ceremonies. We hope you enjoy you time with us.
