Being located in Central Florida we are frequently asked if we have an inclement weather back up plan?

The answer to that is absolutely yes. It depends on the size of your event. First let me say that the weather in Florida is unlike a lot of regions around the country. Since we are a peninsula inserted between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic ocean we experience rapidly changing weather patterns. That is not to say that we don’t know what’s coming. It is to say that when rain comes it usually comes and goes quickly.

Our back up plan is a screened in patio. It can easily accommodate 10 to 15 people for the elopement packages. It is also suitable for a larger group to duck out of a passing shower.

We offer something that not many venues will do. That is even if your event is canceled the day before we allow you to reschedule within one year from your original event date without losing any money.

Upgrades at The Secret Garden are a constant activity here because we love beautification projects. The response is always gratifying to know that our brides and grooms appreciate the fact that we reinvest into this beautiful property. Our new main ceremony location look is overwhelmingly received with words like gorgeous, beautiful, awesome and more. We have wanted to make this change for some time and the day finally arrived. We hope you enjoy viewing the continual upgrades made at The Secret Garden.

A new entrance makeover at the Secret Garden was in order now that the vine needed cutting back. A clean new start with a pergola appeal. We also took advantage of the summer heat to clean each and every rock in the stream water feature near the bridge. After cleaning out the pond liner and pond basin we sat above it all on the back deck and enjoyed one of our beautiful mid summer evening sunsets and watched the baby ducks exploring the lake shore. Would you like to add some mingling time and dinner to your elopement package?

Although we do not provide kitchen use or indoor dining, we do however have a large beautiful screened patio that overlooks the garden and lake view. We have several great restaurants close by that either accommodate delivery service or have take out cuisine that you can pick up. By extending your time at The Secret Garden you can now dine at the same location that you said your wedding vows.

Just Perfect! We were welcomed here by Gary and Marti on 4th Feb for our wedding and we will always treasure our happy memories. The location is just beautiful and we were made to feel like old friends in this wonderful venue. We cried happy tears throughout the meaningful ceremony then giggled like kids all the way through the photographs! It was just so much better than I ever imagined and the photographs are wonderful. We are forever grateful that we chose the Secret Garden to elope during our holiday in Florida.
